Since the beginning of 2018, I was really craving a change, and that change came in the shape of filling a very anticipated address form. 💌  I visited Copenhagen few times this year, and it stole my heart.🏙I fell involve with Denmark all over again
Aalborg is a great town and it will always have a very special place in my heart, but it was time to say goodbye 🌊 💭 I am very grateful I was able to make this change in my life together with my Andreas, and am so excited to explore this completely different side of Denmark 🌉

The actual moving was seamless thanks to Andreas and his amazing family. They helped us move all our furniture and even checked some apartments for us. It really saved us a lot of trouble and stress and converted the moving situation into a cosy family experience.

It was such a nice thing to do, gathering all together to help, it made me miss my family a lot. I am hoping one day I will be able to share such an experience with them.

Finding an apartment wasn’t that difficult either. Andreas and I are fortunate enough to be able to afford the high moving in fees. Truth is, there are a lot of people seeking apartments but as long as you are patient and can afford it financially it will be alright. There are new places showing up all the time, and all you need to do is be fast.

Aalborg has given me a lot of amazing experiences, and I am very grateful this is where my Danish journey began, but it was time to say goodbye. It’s not difficult for me to leave Aalborg, I really feel like I had some great years there and it’s now time to move on. It is, however, difficult to leave my friends. Denmark is a small country, and distances are not that scary, but it still presents a challenge for long distance relationships. I am pretty good at keeping up with my friends over the social media and so, but you know, it’s different.

Anywho, I wanted to make this very short, and just to share with you as I am incredibly excited and happy we did this. I can’t be more grateful we had the opportunity to move, and that Andreas is doing this with me.

Thanks for stopping by, and I will talk to you later!
