sofia I have missed you I have been back in Bulgaria for about eight days and it has been great. The weather is fantastic, warm, sunny and the temperatures even go up to 27! The perfect Fall scenario. Being back in Sofia reminded me how much I miss the big city. I love living in Aalborg, but the dynamics of a big city such as Sofia give you a completely different vibe. The city is so alive, all the time, and there is so much to do! I love the comfort that Aalborg gives me and the short commutes, but…

last day as an e-commerce assistant at digogmigskagen.dk I have very mixed up feeling about goodbyes. Sometimes it can be so distressful to say goodbye, but it can also be a great opportunity to show appreciation. And that’s that kind of goodbye I had today. I feel immense gratitude towards my Digogmigskagen team, and it was a little sad to say goodbye. They made me feel like I belong, and made me see Denmark in a whole new light. I have never before felt like a part of a team the way I did there. It was something that made me…

sponsored by Malacus.dk  Hey, guys hope you are well! Today we are talking all shoes and bags! Hope you enjoy this entry :). Versace 19.69 is one of the brands that has conceptualised fashion, and this is probably the reason why they have taken the market by storm. It’s not just a purse or just a pair of shoes. It’s an expression of personality, of desire, of freedom. The values of the fashion house are strong and soaked into every line they produce. Fashion is one of the most transient industries and Versace19.69 is successfully creating a legacy. Now let’s…

Enjoy! 1. My name My name actually spells Veronika with a single K, but when I was a teen I added the two CC as I thought it sounded really cool :D. 2. I wanted to study medicine When I was younger I wanted to study medicine, and always had 12s in Biology. 3.English In high school, I…

I ride the train for 4h, four days a week. Why? Well, the short answer is – I got a job in Skagen (if you are not from Denmark, Skagen is two hours train ride from Aalborg where I live). The long answer is: I made a promise with myself some time ago, to not say “ no” to an opportunity. When an opportunity present itself, even if it’s not the most attractive one, I try to say “yes”. And it always gives back to me. Here are some of the other reasons for my choice: Unemployment struggles in Aalborg…

Not a vegetarian, and it’s alright. I have been avoiding creating this post for awhile but decided there is no point in putting this pressure on myself. So today I would like to share the reason behind the tough decision I made which is to put the vegetarian lifestyle on pause. I was a vegetarian for about four years. About a month ago I slowly started including meat in my diet again. It really wasn’t an easy decision. It’s a decision that comes with so much guilt and pressure. Quitting being a vegetarian is way harder than becoming one. When…

Aalborg Carnival 2017 – Gatsby, glitter, and heavy make up Hey, guys, hope you are well, and I hope you had a great carnival! Aalborg Carnival is something everyone should experience at least once. I find it absolutely amazing so many people gather up to actively participate in. The proportions of it are mind blowing, especially in relation to the size of Denmark and Aalborg in particular. This year there was a new record set, over 70 000 people from all over Denmark participated :O. The weather was absolutely amazing, and the warmest day we have had this year yet.…

i love you Yesterday my most favorite person had a birthday. We spent the day together enjoying just each other’s company. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for finding you. We are so blessed to have each other, and I don’t want to ever imagine me without you. Forever in my heart. You are more wonderful and lovely in my eyes than you ever were before; and my pride and joy and gratitude that you should love me with such a perfect love are beyond all expression, except in some great poem which I cannot write. – ― John C.…

Skin Scan – Get the real picture! Today I had a quick visit to Aalborg Beauty where I got my skin scanned! Pretty amazing right? Get ready to see me looking like a real idiot 😀 But I really think the procedure was amazing, and want to share it with you! I would highly recommend it to anyone pretty much who wants to keep their skin healthy and happy :). The scanner shows a greater depth of the skin and helps so much when determining what kind of treatment is needed. It can anticipate how your skin is aging, how…

Hey guys, hope you are well!  In this post, I would like to share with you few of my favorite workouts to do at home. I used to do all my workouts at home or outside, not anymore… Currently, I have a gym subscription, so this is where all the action happens, but I ain’t no gym fan… I dislike the gym I go to quite a bit… It’s soo overpriced, the machines are old, there is NO network, there are too many rules of what you have to wear, the air is dry, complain, complain…I can go on and on…

dubai diary – part one Hey guys, thank you for stopping by! This post is taking forever but I have been so tired these days all I want to do is pizza and couch time 😀 . Today I am sharing a small travel diary from our first days in Dubai.  First of all, It was a super uncomfortable flight to Dubai ( from CPH to Istanbul and then Dubai). It was filled with the kind of children that make you feel child hitting is alright, and actually, should be encouraged. Or maybe parents hitting :X. Like srsly, if you let your…

Hey guys, hope you are well :). Like I have mentioned before I have been really into matcha tea. I found some places in town that serve matcha, but I actually prefer preparing matcha tea at home. To me it’s not only about the taste and health benefits, I find the process of preparing it and drinking it really relaxing. It’s a quiet celebration for my mind and soul. I get to take a break from my every day buzz and recharge.  matchaly.dk Today I am giving a shoutout to my current favorite matcha brand. This is not a sponsored…

Hygge Hygge… hmm yes, such a simple word and yet a complicated concept. Most of you have probably heard of it, but in case you haven’t, in short hygge is a Danish concept spreading all over the world, that can be described as ” enjoying cosy time with loved ones, unwinding from everyday burdens, while enjoying some board games, hot chocolate & giggles”.. Today I am sharing with you 5 hygge essentials for the ULTIMATE hygge evening (as it’s recommended that you hygge in the evening ). CANDLES Most importantly, cannot stress enough, how important this is to hygge, CANDLES! Get a lot of candles…

Miqura is a Danish skin care prduct line based on silk. They got pretty popular in the last few months and there was a lot of hype around the products. I got introduced to their concept at their exclusive event in Selling, Aalborg. Today I am reviewing the Anti Blemish Pore Refining mask.  I will start by saying It’s one of the most gentle masks I have ever used. I would definitely repurchase. Used it twice now and both times had a great outcome. I have sensitive skin with the occasional breakouts, a bit oily t-zone and relatively dry chin and…

spring mood on Hey guys, hope you are well! *sharing few snaps of this casual outfit* I have always been super into, dusty pink colours and these basics I got from H&M are my current favorites. Love going out in just leggings, but the chances of showing a little too much are quite high 😀 , sooo always good to have something covering your tushy 😀 . On another note, I am so ready for spring! Can’t wait for some warmer days where I can go out in just leggings and a top and not freeze to death… Cold & darkness really drains…

my vegetarian diet has not been working for me lately … Hey guys, thanks for stopping by.Today I am sharing something I find very alarming and makes me feel pretty uncomfortable. Some of you might know that, but in case you didn’t, I am a vegetarian.I have been a vegetarian for about 3 years and my diet is very rich in vegetables, fruits, beans, eggs and dairy products. Recently I have been feeling constantly hungry and craving meat. I am not sure what is going on as my diet hasn’t changed much since I became a vegetarian and I have never…

valentines day gift ideas for him and her

I love Valentine’s day. I have always liked it and there are numerous reasons why. For me Valentine’s day doesn’t have to be only about romantic love. And in general I don’t need a special reminder for the people I love but it’s good to have it, if you know what I mean. Very often we get carried away and forget to take the time and appreciate the love we have around us. (again not talking only about romantic love, love in general).

Many years I have been my own Valentine ;), and let me tell you it’s pretty good. I buy me chocolate, I buy me flowers, I make me popcorn and watch movies. What’s not to love! For me it’s the day I celebrate LOVE. I love love 😉 . But I also love romance. And it most certainly deserves to have a day dedicated to it.

Valentine’s day can be commercialised only if you allow it or make it be 🙂. The power is in you and your perception of things 🙂 .

“The only thing we never get enough of is love; and the only thing we never give enough of is love.”
– Henry Miller (american novelist)

10 Things Andreas Found Weird / Interesting About Bulgaria Hey guys, hope you are well. In this post, I will share few things Andreas found very interesting/weird/different about Bulgaria. The list is not in an “importance” order, so it’s all pretty random :). We were in Bulgaria only one week, and it was around the holidays so it was extremely packed and there wasn’t much time for anything really… Traffic One of the things that grabbed his attention immediately was the traffic. My mum and sister picked us from the airport and we took a cab home. I didn’t pay…

Vitosha Mountain with Andreas Hey guys, hope you are well! In this short article, I will share few snaps from the time we tried to get to Vitosha mountain. I say “tried” because we really couldn’t get further than the “entrance” of the nature park of the mountain 😀 . Not that we lacked enthusiasm, we lacked any sort of proper equipment. Vitosha mountain is placed right on the outskirts of Sofia and you can easily take a cab there without too much hustle. For the actual mountain, of course, you need proper equipment, something blind and ignorant optimists like…
