2% failure rate Even less than 2% of the dental implants fail, and I was in those percentages. When the procedure is done excellent, and the patient has done everything that they have been instructed to do it should all be fine. But there are still 2% of failure even when everything is done perfectly. I call it “shit happens”. My whole life I have been so incredibly lucky. My whole life I have been in the 98% success rates of everything, I guess there was some balance needed. And this failure brought a lot good to my life as…

Hey guys, hope you are well :).  I will be adding a new section to the blog dedicated to Denmark and life in Denmark as a foreigner :). The topics will be touching upon matters like work, making friends, language, traditions, beauty & fashion and all in between. All just from my perspective and my experience. The first topic might seem a little less important, but I get many questions about it, and I think it’s a good thing to consider when moving to Denmark. prices of beauty procedures in Denmark So how expensive are beauty procedures and products in…

last day as an e-commerce assistant at digogmigskagen.dk I have very mixed up feeling about goodbyes. Sometimes it can be so distressful to say goodbye, but it can also be a great opportunity to show appreciation. And that’s that kind of goodbye I had today. I feel immense gratitude towards my Digogmigskagen team, and it was a little sad to say goodbye. They made me feel like I belong, and made me see Denmark in a whole new light. I have never before felt like a part of a team the way I did there. It was something that made me…

Ex- Vegetarian for a little over 3 months Soo …. I started eating meat again about 3,5 months ago, and I am getting the flu for the second time now, and to be honest I can’t remember the last time I have been feeling that sick from flu. I don’t like to be that crazy person, but.. but.. could it be related? Anywho, these meat conspiracies are not what I want to talk about today :). I just wanted to have a small chat about my current eating situation… I don’t think too much has changed since I incorporated meat into…

It’s the first time I make this kind of article but I find it very fun to read these from other bloggers, so I thought you might do too :). Enjoy! 1. My name My name actually spells Veronika with a single K, but when I was a teen I added the two CC as I thought it sounded really cool :D. 2. I wanted to study medicine When I was younger I wanted to study medicine, and always had 12s in Biology. 3.English In high school, I…

I ride the train for 4h, four days a week. Why? Well, the short answer is – I got a job in Skagen (if you are not from Denmark, Skagen is two hours train ride from Aalborg where I live). The long answer is: I made a promise with myself some time ago, to not say “ no” to an opportunity. When an opportunity present itself, even if it’s not the most attractive one, I try to say “yes”. And it always gives back to me. Here are some of the other reasons for my choice: Unemployment struggles in Aalborg…

Not a vegetarian, and it’s alright. I have been avoiding creating this post for awhile but decided there is no point in putting this pressure on myself. So today I would like to share the reason behind the tough decision I made which is to put the vegetarian lifestyle on pause. I was a vegetarian for about four years. About a month ago I slowly started including meat in my diet again. It really wasn’t an easy decision. It’s a decision that comes with so much guilt and pressure. Quitting being a vegetarian is way harder than becoming one. When…

Hey guys, hope you are well!  In this post, I would like to share with you few of my favorite workouts to do at home. I used to do all my workouts at home or outside, not anymore… Currently, I have a gym subscription, so this is where all the action happens, but I ain’t no gym fan… I dislike the gym I go to quite a bit… It’s soo overpriced, the machines are old, there is NO network, there are too many rules of what you have to wear, the air is dry, complain, complain…I can go on and on…

dubai diary – part one Hey guys, thank you for stopping by! This post is taking forever but I have been so tired these days all I want to do is pizza and couch time 😀 . Today I am sharing a small travel diary from our first days in Dubai.  First of all, It was a super uncomfortable flight to Dubai ( from CPH to Istanbul and then Dubai). It was filled with the kind of children that make you feel child hitting is alright, and actually, should be encouraged. Or maybe parents hitting :X. Like srsly, if you let your…

first time my Danish boyfriend will visit Bulgaria I am so crazy excited, it’s unreal!  In only few days I am traveling home (from Aalborg to Sofia) for Christmas! I haven’t been home in exactly one year, meaning I haven’t seen my family and friends in quite awhile! 😀 I miss it like crazy. Usually it’s total madness, and I am sure the ones who live very far from their families know what I am talking about…. There is so many people you want to visit, so many things you want to do, so many coffees to drink and time…

Gym decency rules at fitness world are ridiculous Hey guys, glad to see you stopped by! So In this post I will share a short story of how I got BUSTED by the GYM POLICE 😀  So in general, I am very free with my body, open minded person and don’t really give a shit of what people do with theirs, as long as it doesn’t affect me. Call it open minded, selfish, whatever. Point is, I don’t judge by any physical attributes shape or form you come in as long as you are a nice person.  So having said…

Christmas came early for me this year! Got this black beauty last week and just couldn’t wait to share some snaps of it. It’s called Deep Black  and it’s from the Danish brand Northern Legacy.  It’s a newly establish company from the Danish entrepreneurs Andreas Østergaard and Jonas Christensen. The brand’s values are inspired by the great Seas of the North which you can see in their logo. Our vision is to reinvent modernity & combine it with traditional craftsmanship – Andreas Østergaard Deep Black by northern legacy Deep Black is an uni-sex piece that comes with a bold attitude and…

Hey guys, thanks for stopping by 🙂 . I love braided hairstyles and this one is my absolute favorite at the moment. It’s pretty hard for me to braid my own hair, but with this hairstyle in particular it’s possible, without too much hustle. I am not the best at it yet :D, but it comes with practise, (after few mental breakdowns, disappointments, cry outs and arm aches) and I can see that every time i recreate it it gets better and better. 🙂 how to – double french braids This is one of my favorite tutorials for this look.…

The purpose of this post is to give a shoutout to a young danish entrepreneur –  Nina Gaunø Fredberg.  Really inspiring young girl who is working hard on making her dreams come true. This entry is not sponsored, and it’s a genuine shout out, as I truly appreciate young entrepreneurs like her and everyone who is chasing their dreams. Nina is founder and owner of minimalisticaffairs.com, a minimalistic, Scandinavian, jewellery company. There are so many beautiful pieces you can find in her shop, all with very simple design, proving that sometimes “less is more”. SKINNY WARRIOR One of my favorite pieces from her…

I wear perfume for myself, It adds up to my mood and general well being. As ridiculous it might sound to some people, others (scent freaks like me) understand it perfectly.  Perfume is the most intense form of memory – Jean Paul Guerlain         My sense of smell is emotional, a scent I fancy must evoke beautiful feeling in me. When it comes to my perfume choices, a lot depends on the state of mind I like to put myself in. A perfume can have a great impact on my mood, and can enhance almost any experience.…

I love fall

There are so many reasons why I absolutely love fall. The colours, the holidays, the food. I have no post-summer blues.

Nothing like taking a walk on a warm Fall day. Perfectly balanced mix of sun and clouds with light chill wind, warm enough to enjoy your time outside and cold enough to do it in a killer outfit. Fall gets all the good outfits. No other season allows you to go outside in big knit, mini skirt and over the knee boots.

When I was in my teens I would give HELL to my hair on daily basis. I would straighten it, then tease it until my head exceeds it’s size at least three times and glue it all together with the strongest hairspray possible. I have no idea how my hair survived all of this, as also I didn’t use any heat protector,  hair mask or conditioner.  Luckily for me and my hair, I outgrew those fashion trends and realised how important it is to protect and take care of my hair.  Heatless curls I don’t straighten it anymore but I still love…

Ahh the bomber…Oversized, embroidered, pink, black blue you name it, there is a style for everyone out there! Funny thing about bomber though…They were quite popular in World War I. How come you wonder, well originally the bomber jacket was created for military pilots and it was called a “Flight” jacket.  But obviously that style escalated quite quickly and took over the fashion world.  Global funk – Danish brand So today I will share with you, one of my favorite bombers in Fall 2016. And it’s this beautiful, mad red bomber from Global Funk. It’s quite simple and minimalistic, following the traditional…

richmond finch satin phonecases

Last year I got the Iphone 6s as a gift. I had hard time adjusting to it due to the size, but once I got used to that I absolutely love itWhat I love about the Iphone 6 besides the OS is the beautiful design of the phone. It’s an Apple thing, they just know and understand how important the design is. Hands down, they make the most beautiful to look at products on the market right now.

What I am trying to say with this, is that I love how the phone looks and in no way think it’s necessary to get a case for the sake of it’s beauty. I do need a case though.
The phone’s size and weight, make it a bit unnatural to hold on to, and for me in particular it could be very easy to drop it. As beautiful this phone is, it’s just that fragile, so for me a case is a necessity.
